Lighter Lending
Effective Date: May 1, 2026
Last Updated: June 1, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how Draper Company Ltd. ("Lighter Lending," "we," "us," or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on lighterlending.com (the "Site"). It should be read together with our Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device (computer, tablet, or mobile phone) when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work, to make them work more efficiently, and to provide information to the site operator. Similar technologies, including pixels, web beacons, tags, local storage, and server-side tracking, may be used for the same purposes. In this Cookie Policy, we refer to all of these technologies together as "cookies."
2. How We Use Cookies
We use cookies to operate and secure the Site, to understand how visitors use the Site, to measure the performance of our advertising, and to share data with advertising and analytics providers so they can deliver relevant advertising and measure its effectiveness. Some cookies are strictly necessary for the Site to function. Others are optional and used for analytics and advertising, and are set only where permitted by applicable law and your choices.
3. Categories of Cookies We Use
3.1 Strictly necessary cookies
These cookies are essential to the operation of the Site. They enable core functions such as page navigation, security, fraud prevention, and access to secure areas. The Site cannot function properly without these cookies, and they cannot be switched off in our systems.
3.2 Analytics cookies
We use analytics cookies to understand how visitors interact with the Site:
- Google Analytics 4 (GA4): collects information about how visitors use the Site, including pages viewed, time on site, referring sources, and approximate geographic location derived from IP address. For more information, see Google's privacy policy.
- Google Tag Manager: a tag management system used to deploy and manage other tracking tags. Google Tag Manager itself does not collect personal information.
3.3 Advertising and marketing cookies
We use advertising cookies to measure and optimize our paid media campaigns and to show you relevant advertising on third-party platforms:
- Meta Pixel (Facebook and Instagram): a tracking pixel operated by Meta Platforms, Inc. that helps us measure, optimize, and build audiences for our advertising on Meta properties. The Meta Pixel may capture the pages you view, the actions you take, and technical information such as IP address and device identifiers, and may transmit hashed identifiers for advertising measurement.
- Google Ads conversion tracking: measures conversions and optimizes our Google Ads campaigns.
- Lead-distribution and attribution pixels: cookies and pixels placed by our lead-distribution platform and by Partner providers for attribution and campaign optimization.
3.4 Functional cookies
We may use functional cookies to remember your preferences, such as the last page you visited or information you have already entered in a form, to improve your experience on the Site.
4. Cookies and the "Sale" or "Sharing" of Personal Information
Some of the advertising and analytics cookies described above may involve the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information, or the use of personal information for "targeted advertising," as those terms are defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act and similar state privacy laws. You have the right to opt out. See Section 5 below, our Privacy Policy, and our Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information page.
5. Managing Your Cookie Preferences
You can control and manage cookies in several ways. Removing or blocking cookies may affect your experience, and parts of the Site may no longer be fully accessible.
- Browser settings. Most browsers let you refuse cookies or alert you when cookies are being sent. See the help section of your browser for instructions.
- Interest-based advertising opt-out. You can opt out of interest-based advertising from many participating companies through the Digital Advertising Alliance's YourAdChoices tool (optout.aboutads.info) or the Network Advertising Initiative's opt-out tool (optout.networkadvertising.org).
- Meta preferences. You can manage ad preferences for Meta platforms in your Facebook ad settings.
- Google preferences. You can manage Google ad personalization at adssettings.google.com, and opt out of Google Analytics via the browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
- Global Privacy Control (GPC). Where required by applicable law, we honor a valid GPC browser signal as a request to opt out of the sale and sharing of your personal information and out of targeted advertising for that browser and device.
- Do Not Sell or Share. To exercise your right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information, visit our Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information page.
6. Changes to This Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the technologies we use or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. When we do, we will revise the "Last Updated" date above.
