This California Privacy Notice supplements our Privacy Policy and applies only to California residents. It is provided under the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (collectively, the "CCPA"). Terms defined in the CCPA have the same meaning when used in this Notice.

Lighter Lending (operated by Draper Company Ltd.) is a marketing and lead generation service. We are not a lender, bank, or debt-relief provider. Our core function is to connect consumers with third-party lenders, lending marketplaces, debt-relief providers, and marketing partners ("Partners"), which means we disclose, "sell," and "share" personal information as described below.

1. Notice at Collection

We collect the categories of personal information listed in Section 2 directly from you when you complete our forms, automatically from your device when you use our Site, and from our Partners and data providers. We collect this information for the business and commercial purposes described in Section 3. We "sell" and "share" the categories marked below. We retain each category for the period described in Section 6. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes other than those permitted by the CCPA.

2. Categories of Personal Information We Collect

In the preceding 12 months, we have collected the following categories of personal information:

Identifiers: name, email address, mobile phone number, mailing/street address, ZIP code, IP address, and online identifiers. (Sold/Shared)
Customer records: date of birth and, where provided, financial account or identity-verification details. (Sold/Shared)
Financial information: requested loan amount, loan purpose, approximate debt balance, income, and pay frequency. (Sold/Shared)
Commercial information: records of requests submitted. (Sold/Shared)
Internet/network activity: pages viewed, links clicked, and form-interaction data. (Shared)
Geolocation: general location derived from IP address. (Shared)
Professional/employment information: employment status and related details. (Sold/Shared)
Education information: highest level of education. (Sold/Shared)
Inferences: characteristics derived from the above to match you with Partners. (Sold/Shared)
Sensitive personal information (where you provide it): Social Security number, driver's license or state ID number, and financial account information. We collect this only where reasonably necessary to verify your identity or process your request with a Partner.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from consumers under 16 years of age, and we do not knowingly sell or share it.

3. Purposes for Collection and Use

We use personal information to: operate and improve the Services; match you with Partners and transmit your request to them; contact you about your request and about loan, debt-relief, and other financial products as authorized; verify identity and prevent fraud; perform analytics and measure marketing; maintain records of consent and transactions; and comply with law. 4. Sale and Sharing of Personal Information

Because we transmit the information you submit to Partners in exchange for compensation, and because we use third-party advertising and analytics technologies, our activities are a "sale" and "sharing" of personal information under the CCPA. The categories sold/shared are marked in Section 2. We disclose these categories to lenders, lending marketplaces, debt-relief providers, marketing partners, advertising platforms, and our service providers.

You have the right to opt out. Exercise it through our Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information page, by emailing privacy@lighterlending.com, or by sending a Global Privacy Control signal, which we honor as a valid opt-out for the browser and device that sends it.

5. Your California Rights

If you are a California resident, you have the right to:

Know/Access the categories and specific pieces of personal information we collect, use, disclose, and sell or share, and the categories of sources and recipients.
Delete personal information we collected from you, subject to legal exceptions.
Correct inaccurate personal information.
Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information.
Limit the use and disclosure of sensitive personal information to the purposes permitted by law.
Non-discrimination for exercising your rights.

6. Data Retention

We retain each category of personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above or as required by law: lead data for up to twenty-four (24) months; consent records for a minimum of 5 years; server logs and IP data for up to 90 days; and suppression/opt-out records on an ongoing basis so we can continue to honor your requests.

7. How to Exercise Your Rights

Submit a request by emailing privacy@lighterlending.com or by using our Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information and Unsubscribe / Manage Preferences pages. We will verify your identity using information you previously provided (such as name, email, and phone) before fulfilling access, deletion, or correction requests, and we will respond within the timeframes required by the CCPA. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf with proper written authorization and verification.
